The Birmingham Business Journal, in partnership with Samford University, will host a 2024 Economic Forecast panel on Friday, January 12, at the Harbert Center in Birmingham.  The event will have various business experts discussing what’s ahead financially for the new year.

Samford has been a long-time sponsor and host of the event.  This year’s session will feature Samford University Vice President of Advancement and Marketing and Professor of Marketing Dr. Betsy Bugg Holloway as moderator, and Brock School of Business Associate Dean Dr. Jeremy Thornton as a panelist. Other panelists include former Alabama Secretary of Commerce Greg Canfield and Anoop Mishra, Vice President/Regional Executive for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

The event starts at 7:30am with a breakfast, followed by the program that includes the panel.  Registration details can be found online.  Samford students will receive free admittance to the event, with details coming out via email early next year.
